Hustle Butter Deluxe Review

For the first time ever, I want to cover a single product for tattoo healing. At InkDoneRight, we talk all about different types of tattoo care tools—from lotions, to sunscreen, and even to tanning lotions. We also provide all sorts of detailed information on how to care for your tattoo before, during, and after the inking process. However, we want to focus on this certain product because of how many people truly benefit from its use. Without further ado, let’s take a close look at its upsides and downsides with our detailed Hustle Butter Deluxe review. We compare it to a few other outstanding products, but it stands out as the best lotion for tattoo aftercare on our dedicated review page.

Hustle Butter Lotion

To start with, the actual contents of the cream truly make it stand out from the crowd. Hustle Butter ingredients only include vegan compounds, and no animal testing went into the creation of this product. Pitched as a luxury product, this lotion certainly uses the best ingredients to provide a comfortable experience. At the same time, it remains an affordable tattoo care option. In other words, it packs a lot of bang for your buck. The only other thing you could possibly want for a healing tattoo is tattoo numbing cream.

How to Use Hustle Tattoo Butter

Hustle Butter targets your skin through moisturization, speeding up your healing process and reducing inflammation. In order to properly utilize it, you need to know all of its uses. First—and most crucial to any tattoo artists using this—it works as an excellent glide. It keeps your stencils in place while your artist works, ensuring smooth and precise movement. Spread it over the area in a thin layer before tattooing for the best effect. After your artist finishes, they may apply another layer of Hustle Butter before they place saran wrap on top of it.

In the first few days after returning home with your tattoo, I suggest using specialized tattoo soaps or a tattoo aftercare kit. After three days of healing, you can resume using the tattoo lotion as normal. While you can use it during the first stage of healing, I find the other soaps offer a stronger germ-fighting effect. Never apply a thick layer of it during the first stage of healing, since your wound needs to breathe a little. Instead, apply just enough to keep the area moist as you heal. This reduces your chance of scabs and speeds up your recovery. Any time it feels dry, apply another tiny layer. The one ounce bottle lasts for quite a while!

Once your tattoo completely heals, continue using any leftover lotion as a general moisturizer for dry skin or small wounds. Unlike most other skin moisturizers, it leaves no greasy residue or pungent odor behind.

Hustle Butter Deluxe Ingredients

This list details the complete contents of Hustle Butter, along with our personal notes on the usual effects of all of them. If your skin reacts to any of these compounds, then of course, steer clear. However, it contains far fewer irritants than many other brands, so also keep that in mind. It works just fine on my dry skin!

  • Shea – Anti-inflammatory, moisturizer.
  • Mango and Aloe Butters – Soothes discomfort.
  • Coconut – Light moisturizer.
  • Sunflower and Rice Bran Oils – Prevents some reactions on sensitive skin.
  • Rosemary Oleoresin – Natural preservative.
  • Green Tea – Anti-aging and antioxidant benefits.
  • Vitamin E Complex – Your skin absorbs vitamin E directly into your skin.
  • Mint Arvenis Essential Oil – Mild antibiotic, soothes pain.
  • Essence of Papaya and Coconut – Moisturizer, reduces reactions.

As you can see, all of the compounds occur in nature…it might even be edible! I suggest not eating it, though. It probably tastes gross. Compare it with our other recommended tattoo healing creams to see just how unique its ingredients are!

Hustle Butter Deluxe Review Wrap-Up

Ultimately, Hustle Butter Deluxe fills the void of quality vegan products in the tattoo aftercare industry. It belongs in every tattoo lover’s medicine cabinet and on the shelves of every tattoo store. Unfortunately, its scarce availability makes up its only downside. Finding Hustle Butter Deluxe at Target or Walmart is just impossible, and artists usually sell out of the stuff quickly. That’s why I always stick to online stores. Plus, I pick up a little bit of numbing cream for tattoos at the same time.

Anyways, I hope you learned a little more about this great tattoo lotion—and the benefits of tattoo care—while reading this. To learn more about tattoo health and care, check out the rest of InkDoneRight! As always, thanks for reading!

  1. I’m experiencing some tiny red bumps below my tattoo after using hustle butter that I bought at the salon which did my tatt, and it looks like I have lost the color of my tattoo in a few spots It’s day 6 and feels n looks really dry. Is this normal ??

    • It might look a bit dry as the skin peels of. The color will return after its healed. But you shouldn’t be seeing red bumps. Keep a good eye on it. If it persists or even get worth, stop using the product and seek medical advice right away! It’s not necessarily the product, it might be a skin overreaction, an allergic reaction to an ink ingredient or the wound might show some signs of an infection.

  2. I have personally used hustle butter and the only thing I can say is wow it ‘s amazing speeds up the healing process does not give a gooey feeling of tipical petroleum products…reduces itching..the point when your tattoo is in healing state …All I can say is it scores a 100/100 and is a must buy product..hope this comment is helpful for you…cheers !!
